How It Works
This pain-free treatment uses photons and nonthermal radiance to alter biologic activity. Using different coherent (laser) and non-coherent (LED) light has been shown to treat and effect at molecular, cellular and tissue levels. The absorption of the light by the cells in the body have shown great results in decreasing inflammation, allowing cell rejuvenation and a decrease in painful irritation. We have also seen great results for use in treating hair loss, as the laser therapy increases the amount of adenosine triphosphate which modulates5α-reductase, an enzyme that is responsible for DHT (testosterone) conversion. By Blocking the DHT conversion we are minimizing one of the leading causes of hair loss.
Procedure
The procedure for LLLT is quite simple as it requires little preparation and can be combined with any of our head spa rituals or as a stand alone treatment.
- Arrive and your technician will escort you into our serene treatment rooms
- You will be asked to put on protective eyewear to ensure your safety
- Relax while your technician performs the laser treatment, section by section based on their analysis
- Remove eyewear and book your next treatment
